UniSQ is committed to protecting the personal information of its students against misuse. We ensure that personal information is responsibly collected, used, and managed in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). UniSQ’s Privacy Policy affirms the University’s commitment to the privacy and data protection principles contained in these privacy laws. UniSQ is collecting the personal information on this form for the purpose of facilitating access to the VFairs external platform for the 2023 Virtual Careers Fairs, delivered by UniSQ’s Career Education Team in collaboration with UniSQ schools, and to provide you with networking opportunities and career insights.

Your personal information will only be accessed by authorized individuals, including specific staff within the Career Education Team and the Student Communication and Events Team, as well as the third party vendor (vFairs). It is stored in accordance with the UniSQ Records and Information Management Procedure. De-identified personal information may be sent to certain UniSQ schools for evaluation and data collection purposes.

We may be required to provide your personal information to third parties. Your personal information will not be disclosed to a third party unless:

• We are requested to do so by you;
• We are required by law to do so; or
• Disclosing the information will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to a person’s life or health.

Collection Notice

UniSQ is collecting and processing the personal information on this Form for the purpose of facilitating access to the vFairs external platform for the 2023 Virtual Career Fairs. We may share your personal information with UniSQ employees, including members of the Career Education Team and the Student Communication and Events Team, as well as UniSQ affiliates and representatives for the purpose described above.
